Hey there everyone,
Looking for a rec on a distortion (maybe OD) pedal to stack in between my Westwood and Karma Suture. I mostly use the Westwood for a barley there edge of breakup thing and I use the Karma Suture for more like blasted out/saggy/fuzz lead stuff. Looking for something to run between the two for a more like medium gain thing. Better to be on the tigther end because both the Suture and Westwood are pretty soggy and need something for more percussive/rhythmic riffing. Also like more touch sensitive too. Using a Plumes right now which feels very.... whatever.
Thanks!
Mid to low gain Distortion/OD for stacking.

I think for stacking the best atm to me is the Onkart Gromt Grombass, stacks well with even higain metalsy type stuff, has a lot of clipping range, but I would not call it warm, smooth or forgiving.

Off the top of my head, if you need something with some sort of bass cut to tighten up the sound I think Dr. Scientist Elements, EAE Dagger are both valid alternatives. Maybe also other drives with a dedicated bass eq (better if pre-distortion circuit).
Speaking from personal experience, The EAE Longsword could easily solve the situation and kick the Westwood off your board.
An OCD variant might be good if you need dynamics but please don't give money to that asshole, there are plenty of valid clones/elaborations on that circuit out there.

If you're looking in OCD-ville (which you should), also check out some 250 & D+ variants.
Elements is really powerful and can certainly do a really tight medium gain thing, so that's a solid shout as well.
