I can theoretically play anything, but I very rarely listen to anything outside of Spotify or Bandcamp. So, link me up to something cool instead!

I eat pretty much everything. I'm trying to get into coffee, so if you know of some rad beans, those are nice. A local (or your favorite) hot sauce. Chocolate. Candy. Something you baked? It really doesn't matter, I'm omnivorous as fuck. If it's something you like or that's a local thing, that's always interesting to me.

Don't ship alcohol (or drugs) because that means it will just get returned to you and it will be a sad time for us all.

I haven't posted a whole lot in the last year (but still a decent amount), but if you stalk me I'm sure you will find plenty of wishes and desires for gear, and they should hold up still. Keywords for things I like are glitchy, lo-fi, texturey, stuttery, gritty, subby, filtery, choppy or something along those lines.

Yo! I'm in!

I feel like a lot of this could probably be found via stalking and I don't want to ruin the fun, but I definitely haven't spent too much time around here lately. I'm always into delays, lofi, glitchy things. That goes for pedals, synths, samplers, etc. I've been gassing for some kind of splitter/AB box to use both channels on my newly acquired DRRI (so something with a phase switch like the OBNE Signal Blender or EQD Swiss Things?). I'm a bit of an EQD and Fairfield fanboy and I'm sad that I sold all my SS/BS pedals (Pretty Years is a reasonable Santa gift request right?!). I've also started to explore the euroracks again and my setup is pretty light right now (only have a Mutable Beads and Clank Chaos at the moment; mainly building something to complement all of my semi-modular gear).

I've been trying to get more into DIY stuff. I'm planning on buying a 3D printer in the very near future and I want to practice soldering skills more. Also on the DIY side, I'm a fanboy of Leatherman and Victorinox tools

Totally down for hot sauces, coffee (whole beans!), chocolate, snacks. Always into trying anything local. That being said, not really into sour candies. T-shirt size is XL. Books are cool! Mainly play music on vinyl or via Spotify.

Pretty sure you can get a good idea of most of my gear through my Instagram too.

wooooo! I'll probably revise this a bit in the runup to xmas but getting started now.


Clothes: Size S/M - but dang I have a lot of t shirts. I could stand to wear more hats though maybe? Or... socks? I always need socks. But hey I won't say no to more black metal band t shirts if you got a good one.

Food: gluten free & vegan. Not huge on sweets though I like chocolate. Love coffee or cool tea, hot sauce, recipes, ingredients... Very keen cook!

Books: I love em. Stalk me in the reading thread maybe. I get through a heck of a lot of sci-fi (not exclusively though) and always looking for new and interesting stuff.

Music: digital only please! I don't really have the capability to play physical formats anymore. Would be interested in hearing your band, local stuff in your area, that under-the-radar band you're just crazy about, or just stalk me and see if you can recommend me something cool I might like!

Gear: Potentially tricky one this year I feel pretty set on dirt - though if you stalk me maybe you'll find a cool niche I haven't tried... I was looking at smaller simple but nice sounding reverbs? Preamps/cab sim boxes, always love amps, maybe some recording gear (preamp/comp??) GAS fiend who knows. Eurocrack is a dangerous pick this year unless you're vidret because I'm fairly happy with my setup and don't want to be swapping much out I will try to post more about gear and see if the chaos of my posts reveals a pattern to a secret observer. Fundamentally I'll always enjoy an interesting thing you send my way if you've done a bit of stalking so feel free to ignore the above if you find the PERFECT fuzz or whatever

There are plenty of knobby rack delay bits of awesome that are menu-free. I like the old Delta Labs units like my ADM-1024 and the Digitech RDS/Time Machine devices. I hear good things about the ADA S-1000 and the Boss DE-200. I *think* the Roland SDE-1000 and Yamaha D-1500 are knobs only, and are great though starting to appreciate.

So! I am doing this for the first time ever!

Gearwise, I should be stalkable on the forums. (You'll be able to see various things rotating in and out on the setup of the day thread.) I'm super-into wiggly modulation, delay, reverb. Dirt not so much, but then again, with my lap steel...maybe?

I'm not proficient on any instrument, so any kind of sound/drone generators (esp. Lo-fi/handheld/fun for performance purposes) that I can feed into my pedals is of interest.

Currently without a turntable, so vinyl's not super-enticing to me. I dig tapes and CD's, and these days Bandcamp most of all. I read books.

Don't drink coffee, rarely drink beer. Love tea, candy's dandy. Hot sauce: more scintillatingly spicy than scorching. Largely omnivorous.

Frequent wearer of t-shirts. Because of (I swear) the pandemic, I'd probably take an XXL (or a generous XL).

mostly hoping for a decent reverb pedal, i have the spring chicken still and my bitquest, and I've tried the RM-1N (loved it and miss it dearly), holy grail, rv-3, hall of fame, maybe some others in there somewhere.

It isn't impossible that I am the worst to get this year, congrats dude. My instagrams are fcknoise and brandsmannen, but I don't post anymore. I've gone less internet the last year. But I haven't cared less for gear or music, almost the opposite. I have posted more albums on bandcamp than pictures on instagram, both accounts combined, which feels like some sort of goals. On the other hand

So in terms of gear I'll try to give you some pointers, because it would be difficult to stalk
1) I love dirt, but its very difficult to get dirt for me because I have quite a bit. Always wanted an old rat, but they are so insanely expensive on reverb nowadays.
2) A real quest of mine is getting a good tone going direct in. A piece of paper with a good description on how the fuck I'd do that would be a great gift. My amp sounds so sick, but when going direct I either get that harshness in the treble, or it sounds muffled asf. I am moving to a place where playing loud will be an issue, so this would be cool to figure out.
3) I am using lots of synths, and since the elfs of last year came together to get me hooked on Eurocrack, something that integrates with that would be sick. Idk, I've been looking at that beringer 303 clone which looks pretty fun. Or of course, a module. I can promise not to get the joranalogue contour 2 until the day after christmas.
4)

I love hot sauce! I used to make them quite often. I wear S-sized tees. There are several people that would know my gear wants and needs almost better than me connected to the forum, you could probably stalk em up and ask them and they'd describe it better than me
