Hilbish cleans ?

Wow been a while since last time I came here. Problems with my account and laziness

I just ordered a Hilbish beta preamp because they had a sale and I was interested in them for a couple of years.

This might surpise the purists but I don't play doom stuff. I will go into overdrive and fuzz territory here and there but I mostly play clean fusionish psych/jazzy stuff. So I was wondering what to expect from the hilbish cleans.

I ordered a mooer babybomb poweramp but might also very well use the hilbish in my Mesa MkIII or MKIIB fx loop to get the tube power section as well as the spring reverb to help getting a solid clean sound.

Can they sound any good in that situation or am I going to use it purely as a dirty stoner riffs amp ?

its pretty good clean. i dont think it goes like crystal clean but its not just super fuzzy. was a long time since i played one

I know they can do clean but I'm wondering how good they are . Will see when I receive it but yeah I'm considering going with it as my main amp. I'd then likely get a cab and maybe sell one of my combo. Only thing I'm scared of is not having a spring reverb anymore...playing mostly clean I'm wondering if it would be worth it or if I'll miss the cleans of my other amps
