Does anyone here know what it is based on? Mostly for curiosities sake. Thanks again you beautiful fuzz warlords.

I think there's a video with the main guy where he talks about how it started. Might have been a Namm clip from the last couple years.

I thought Pizza [Pie] was a tongue-in-cheek nod to the Pi Muff. According to Joe Gore, it's more like a silicon Fuzzrite. Hmm.
https://www.premierguitar.com/articles/ ... zza-reviewThe circuit descends from the dual-transistor fuzz pedals of the 1960s, such as the Fuzz Face and Fuzzrite. These aren’t germanium transistors, mind you, but a pair of high-gain silicon 2N5088s. There are no op amps or clipping diodes.

the ad copy from Caroline mentions something about the design starting out as a legendary one-knob fuzz design that was then tweaked. I always thought that referred to the Colorsound one knob fuzz. i do own a Hawaiian Pizza & it's a fun one!

Yes, I'm just trying to figure out the circuit ancestry. I read about the colorsound one knob fuzz thing. People have also said it was muffy as well as a fuzzrite. Just a bit confused.
