Craigslist dealer scam solution?

Post by sears »

Yes, I still use CL. But dealers who post a hundred ads in "By Owner" are pretty much ruining it. Flagging takes a lot of time. Using "X" to mask the ad is quick but temporary and doesn't send a message. You can complain but Craigslist doesn't care.

eh, maybe it's not worth it but if anyone has any ideas!

Tell him you want to meat up and beat that ass?

I'm not sure. Craigslist is a mess here too.

I might have to join (shudder) facebook. Maybe I should start another thread about being on FB under an assumed name just to look at classifieds.

Facebook search is even more useless than Craigslist, but I've sold stuff pretty easily in the local B/S/T groups. Nobody ever has anything I want to buy tho

Thanks for the insight. I still get the odd deal on Craig's and wonder how much of it has migrated somewhere else.
