ReHousing Heads

so i'm thinking about turning my VT22 into a V4 head instead. is there any reason I cant just throw the guts in whatever empty head I can find? like, is there any scientific formula to leaving room for tubes to breathe or anything? i'm not caring about preserving any cosmetic integrity of "looking authentic" or anything. just looking for a functioning V4 at this point.

Put it in whatever. As long as it’s not an enclosed box or something. Give the tubes some airflow. It’ll be fucking awesome. Make it a head. Fuck that combo bullshit. I wish everyone with a vt-22 would make it a head.

That being said, no spam, but if you want a headshell, I do that.

Also, I’m still jamming that boneshaker you sold me all the time. I love it.

oh sweet! my bassist uses one also and its his only pedal. somehow crushes. I could never bond with it.
