Amps/speakers for drum machines/synths/etc...

How do yall amplify your synths, drum machines, noisemakers, etc...?

I have a handful of guitar and bass amps at home but I feel like I need to add some sort of full range speaker to my non-guitar instruments that have a wider frequency response. Any recs? Im thinking a powered FRFR PA speaker might be the best bet for volume and portability. Ultimately I just want keys and drum machines to sound great without being restricted on highs and lows by a speaker that was really meant for a narrower guitar/bass range.

I'm looking more for an all-in-one solution I think. Strongly considering an EV ZLX 12" FRFR speaker that I can run everything into and not take up a ton of space.

Those Roland solid state Cube amps are pretty decent.

can you get enough bottom from a 12 for a drum machine? PA cabs are probably a good idea; i do think you'd want one with a 15" though for that phat-bottom grrl sound.

Howdy, thank you for starting this thread, I've been doing some digging on this too for my own set-up and I've heard great things about the EV ZLX line. I was originally looking at the Headrush FRFR but the negatives (poor construction/durability) seem to outweigh the positives (price and volume). Seems like the ZLX is a much more reliable speaker to use. I've read many times that both the QSC K's and Yamaha DXR's are damn fine speakers for this sort of thing too but they cost more.
