I thought it'd be really cool if there was some kind of dirt box that instead of having LOW and HIGH controls, had CUT and RESONANCE like on a Synth. You'd get a lot of those great "Half cocked wah" sounds obviously as well as a pretty interesting tonal range.
I think the problem with a lot of tone knobs is that they have the Resonance down to 0.
Is there such thing as a Resonance Filter pedal?

I haven't heard of one specifically, I guess you could just use your wah as the tone control if you wanted (Yea the prometheus is an resonant filter but it's not a dirt box is it?)
Wouldn't be hard to implement though I guess if there was demand for it, I can think of a few simple circuit that would work too add on to a distortion,
Could be something interesting for me to stick on the breadboard if I get a chance.

Well a cheap lowpass filter would be fine too(which the Moog obviously isn't).

Q-tron? The big box version has a lp filter, it also has a ton of volume boost.
Youtube Channel?

Re: Is there such thing as a Resonance Filter pedal?
good luck finding one of those
u could prolly throw the frostwave one in there too....forget whats its called at the moment...*pause for googling*....THE RESONATOR! similar to the TSP as its a korg ms20 filter clone i believe.
alesis philtre is a good filter unit, more than just LP, its also got HP, BP, and BS? which is basically a notch filter i think. i have one of these and theyre great filter units, guess its lackin the dirt u seek (could always just run a dirt pedal beofre or after) but u can usually get these for cheap on CL or the bay. also got a lot of cool modulation options as well.
