Why would anyone buy one of these over the PS5 its a copy of? You can get the much more rugged PS5 under $100 all day long.
I honestly only know one person who uses one of these and its because he couldn't afford a second PS5 at the time.

Whaaaaaaaaaat
I bought one of these off Amazon last year for like $35. Who the fuck would pay any more than that for one of these?!

This just seems like someone trying to game the price window that Reverb has. For whatever reason.

I think that's based on sold items. Listing things for a given price won't add that price into the average.Sonaboy wrote:nogodsnobedtimes wrote:Whaaaaaaaaaat

The price window is for current listings. The recommended price function you see while creating a listing is based on past sales.
Otherwise, listing something at a ridiculous price point, then dropping the price way back to a reasonable level will get your item moved into the Price Drops section...which is kind of like a free way to get your thing boosted.

Im not sure that works though. I remember reading something from Reverb that said starting at a crazy price and then dropping dramatically doesn't register the same. I haven't checked lately but I wouldn't be surprised if they filter out things like 90% price drops or something. Especially since 'price drops' is still a hand-picked collection AFAIK. So your item might say X% price drop but that doesn't automatically boot it into that category.Sonaboy wrote:whoismarykelly wrote:I think that's based on sold items. Yeah, I'm just spitballing. That section might actually be manually curated anyhow.
Last week I spotted a Boss FZ-2 for sale for $1000. Reverb listing got taken down, Ebay listing stayed up. hah

there are 2 listings on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R ... r&_sacat=0
Seems to be sold out everywhere. Guessing it was discontinued or maybe BOSS final put out a cease and desist?

It’s likely people that are uninformed and ask too much or people looking for a laugh and post it seeing if someone will actually buy it.

I think 130 on E-bay is too high when you can get a PS5 or 6 for less
one on amazon for over 600, someone is just cranking up the prices.
I always wondered if you could do this and then go to a GC and trade it in and get 60% of the Value back
