Flangers are kind of special to the music world, I think. Most other forms of modulation is probably just transferred from the world of observing and measuring physical phenomena, ie:

More specifically physics. My GF is a geo-physicist and she knows everything about filters. Way more than me... :cry:

I need more tube jet suck, my crate amp has a flange I have yet to hear in anything else Im on a mission to find. Maybe cuz andy didnt have the mix all way...pretty close to the Sick sounds of my dsp crate crap...deep suction is what i want, I want to get sucked off.
