I have found the sacred ratio.
Four Metal Zones per HM-2.
I couldn't resist.
I don't need it, but finding an earlier MIJ for that few Metal Zones...

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

88's a lucky number.
(Also, I propose renaming the forum. Either "ILOVEHM-2" or "ILOVEMETALZONE".)

announcement, in reality I paid $28 for my MT-2. I forgot to mention the shipping charge. Hope I didn't throw off the calculations too much in this new math.

Doesn't matter. We've already established that Metal Zone = $22.

Considering how favorably it compared to the Vitriol I'd say $22 is a bargain!

That's a good price, and one of the few pedals where MIJ is substantially different to mit.

Lol! I ended up giving that cursed MT-2 away as a deal sweetener on a Reverb sale. Although IMO it killed the Vitriol because of the parametric mids, that heavy grind just wasn't doing it for my bass. I recently became a convert to low-gain OD so now I'm on a fuckin Solidgoldfx Beta buying spree. Got the DLX, Germanium and LM308.

Shipping for the first one is kind of a given, one is not going to pay $8 per after.
And I don't expect anyone to give free shipping on a $22 pedal.
But for in-person, Metal Zone transactioning....$22. $22. $22.

I went with the same as I had when I had mine, it could sound worse than the MIT, I just wanted this one for nostalgia.
I'm one DOD 595 phasor (and the godawful 1/4" AC plug) from completing a replica of my old gigging rig effects now.

Really, cause I have both and they're completely indistinguishable.
