What makes music relevant?

Sales? Cultural importance? Quality? Innovation? You liked the album art?

Music that I like is relevant to me, music I dislike is irrelevant. It is highly subjective and deeming any kind of music irrelevant as if it is a fact, is bull.

Define sales and how you factor these sales.
Define Cultural importance and why you find culture important.
Define quality: sound? recording? quality of playing? quality of emotion? songs composed in or about the quality inn?
Define inovation and what do you find innovative, what if people other than you do not find the same things to be innovative.
Define art. Define what you like? and do you really know what you like?
