Anyone use an Ampeg SVT Micro VR for Guitar and Bass?
I have looked and there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on this. Does anyone use an Ampeg SVT Micro VR head for both guitar and bass? Some people on here have said already that they like it for bass, but i am also interested in knowing how it does with guitar too compared to other SS amps within the same 200-300 dollar range because i would like to possibly use it for both (with pedals). Any experience from just bass users is great too, but also wanted to hear from any guitar/baritone players if there were any that had used it (and what all of your thoughts are about it). I like how small and compact it is while still having a lot of convenient features for recording options (line out, etc.). Shipping and/or transporting to Thailand would be easy, and it would be something that people can somewhat easily find information about if repairs were needed in the future i am guessing too. Any thoughts or anyone with any experience? Anything that would possibly be equal or better to recommend?

I'm curious about this as well, because I'm debating getting one of these when I get a bass, but it'll sit next to my guitar rig. Good for stereo setups?

Used to be part of this musicians co-op that had one. I dig it for bass, never tried it on guitar unfortunately. I did use lots of pedals on the bass and play high notes? It was cool.

Never used the SVT Micro, but I've had the same thought.
One small bass head I HAVE used is the GK MB200. Our old bass player had one and I plugged it into my 412 and played baritone through ut. Sounded pretty rad. I'm considering getting one for backup/stereo/flight-rig.
One of the guitarists for Norwegian metal/jazz band Shining used the MB500 for guitar for a while.

the gk mb200 looks cool too, but it only runs on 100-120 VAC right? The SVT micro i know has a selector switch on the back for 220-240 VAC too (which is what we run over here)

No experience with the amp in question. Bass is my main instrument. Every bass amp I've had worked great with guitar. Just need a to do a little EQing. My old Peavey MKIII is pretty killer with the guitfiddle.
