Koma Field Kit Electroacoustic Workstation

Post by baremountain »

So we don't have a proper thread for this yet. Who else ordered one?
My DIY kit is on its way (although it hasn't been scanned in 6 days - maybe DHL takes their time?). I've got a ton of ideas about how to integrate this with my setup & figured a place to share ideas, settings, patches, etc, might be a cool thing.

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

I have my eyes on one post move, for sure. Definitely interested to see how it plays with other modular stuff since it doesn't seem like a particularly useful piezo source for that HQ sample tone.
good deals are here.

This Dadamachines thing is similar in spirit but different. Might appeal to you folks as well.

I thought the dadamachines kinda went the opposite direction...
but interesting for sure!

Are you using things like these with all your gongs & bowls, Nora?

I just meant similar in that they both are using motors and technology to interface with acoustic sounds. Trying to bring those world's together in a different way than what is typically out there.

Nope, I don't have these things.

oh that for sure!
I thought the Fieldkit was only using piezos & such to turn audio to CV/Env,
but of course it also goes the other way via motors ...
sorry!

I really, really want one of these too, but it's way too far out of my current budget. We should make this thread a DadaMachines thread
