I'm 90% into the idea of building a couple midi/cv controllers into the neck of my guitar via a pressure and position ribbon controller. I think it would be cool to tweak a filter based on how hard I'm squeezing my hand. Anyone want to give me a good descriptions on the texture of a ribbon controller? I'm hoping that it slide's well enough that I could not worry about having it on my guitar neck?
Also, any places I should look at instead of doepfer for supplies?
Ribbon controller texture?

Synthrotek sells touch pad potentiometers that you can stick onto stuff: http://store.synthrotek.com/Spectra-Sym ... p_691.html
Not pressure sensitive, but could be worth experimenting with before you start doing serious mods?
Now I kind of want to try this myself
