just excited so heres a some news, its 1 a.m and i recieved an email after sending one 2 hrs ago...and its reads.

"...i asked oliver and he said "the evil filter is a redesign from the ground up so any clones are just taken from an older, inferior circuit design. the fuzz was one of the things i thought was really holding it back and so that took about 2 years to design. the filter's totally different too".

thanks for the support! its not looking too likely that we will be doing any custom work soon, as we are super busy. sorry about that."

:joy: :omg: :!!!:

The fuzz part might be true (it looks like there's an additional transistor in there), but that's still a UAF42AP in there.
At best, there might be a few new elements to the filter (there's some component in there that I can't pinpoint based on just the unpopulated circuit board), but, as far as I can tell, it looks to be the same deal.

Honestly, though, the changes to the fuzz are interesting enough that I'd pick one up used if I had the chance (looks like there's some internal trim or switch that's at the end of the circuit).
Now that I've looking a little closer, there's definitely been some changes to both circuits (they seem fairly minor on the filter part, but still interesting). :snax:
