Cascading, arpeggiating, stuttering echoes

Post by echorec »

Am I missing any other delays that can do these sequence-style, fluttering hiccup delays? The MF-104M can also produce a lot of surreal intervals as well, but it's quite different from these 3 pedals.

Chase mode on the Supa starts just after 3:43 and continues until the end of the demo.

Some of the best examples of the jumping delay from Ruiner's video are after the 8-minute mark.

ExCane's walkthrough also shows off the Limbo with fuzz.

Pitchfactor is basically designed for this and more. Haven't played one but the Timebender seems prime, too. An MF-104M is the best I've ever had, but I also like being able to pay rent...any analog delay with exp/cv control over delay times would do this,, right?
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Timebender does this in spades, repetable, adjustable.

Any delay with an exp input and an 8 step?

Also the deluxe memory boy/man with tap tempo does that same thing the way huge does

The Linn Adrenalinn does this in spades, especially if you can midi sync it.

How would one go about achieving this on the bender?

You can add the harmonizer to almost all the stuff (not looper and I forget which other). Turn the knob at the right of the LED time counter.

It's set to "U" normally, unison. Will change as you spin the wheel: -5 U or +12 +24, U is always unison, left digit is left out, right digit, right out. To turn it off, spin wheel back left until U appears!

That's it.

I have v1. I would imagine v2 and v3 can do the same stuff. I think the later versions just added tap tempo and better cab sims.

I know it's been mentioned but the CT5 on mode 1 seems like the guy...

Out of production for a while, but the Skychord Cloudbuster can do some of what's happening in the Tonal Recall video with its built-in sequencer
Great deals with lordgalvar, filipre, seten, DannDubblewe, PumpkinPieces, backwardsvoyager, DADGBD, jwar, JonnyAngle, dandolin, pd~, Dungus, dminner
