but is there an app that one can run on Windows that lets one see what tempo one...... is...... at?

BECAUSE I NEED TO KNOW THE TEMPO.

or do i need to swap up to a Pro for that?

I haven't hooked my beatstep up to MIDI yet, but can you just have it recieve a midi clock?

I've only used it for weird stuff not synced with anything.

Hmmm does the orig not have a tempo display? I have a BSP and you can either generate clock with it or slave it to receive clock from something else, like your DAW

it's so freaking awesome, but without feedback on what key or tempo i'm in, think i'm going to have to upgrade to the Pro.
