Nanoloop Mono - Analog Cart for DMG Gameboy

Post by DRodriguez »

So, nanoloop managed to make an almost all analog path for a synth controlled via a nanoloop interface. Fun for all you overly nostalgic people like me.

Damn, this reminded me that I have a couple of DMGs sitting in a box as I haven't used them in a while (I bought my first Nanoloop around 2000 or so) and I found out that like a moron I left batteries in one of them :(. The white one, too. Super rare and now it needs a good old cleaning...

Anyway, I need fresh batteries to check again the recent Nanoloop One cart I bought a couple of years ago as the sequencer part is apparently the same and if the flow is nice I'll probably order this new one too :).

Nanoloop 1.3 and a Blue DMG was the first musical equipment I ever bought, was probably 13. I never really got along with the NL interface though. Considered LSDJ for a minute, but then chiptunes sorta wore off. The NL Mono looks nice, especially that cartridge :)* :)* :)* , but unfortunately it's the same interface.
Sidenote: got my 1.3 signed by DJ Scotch Egg when I saw him perform
