Bands / songs with Bass VI

Post by tremolo3 »

GASing for a Bass VI... but I need more.

I know Placebo, The Cure, TTNG and some other dad rock bands use Bass VI in a few songs, but I'm looking for bands where Bass VI is one of the main instruments across their discography, like Football, etc.

Bonus points for noisy stuff.

(I guess this is probably "dad rock" by the standards of the first post, but idgaf)
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

I made a bunch of 6-year-olds listen to that when I chaperoned the pumpkin patch field trip the other day. I was like "You have to check this out - totally underrated. I think they could have been even bigger, but back in the 90s Steve Kilbey developed a huge heroin problem."

Almost all the bass parts on my new record were done with a VI pawnshop series. Check out the weary heads link in my sig.
