Future Rig: Comments?
Amp:
Late 70's Fender Twin Reverb
Guitar:
Modified Epiphone Les Paul
(Maybe a Edwards later along the line)
Effects:
EHX POG
EHX Pulsar
EHX Memory Toy
EHX Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai
Barber Dirty Bomb
Devi Ever Shoegazer
Ernie Ball Volume
Death By Audio Fuzz War
Blackout Whetstone Phaser
Currently, this is the rig I'm working on. I can probably get some boutique pedals, as I can go spend up to $1500 on pedals. Any changes I should make, or is it alright for now? If it helps, I play:
Blues/Hard Rock
Prog. Rock/Metal
Post-Rock
Ambient
Shoegaze
Psychedelic Rock
Stoner Rock
Doom Metal
NWOBHM
Rockabilly
Drone

Needs single coils.

also, as far as devi pedals go, I think the Godzilla's a good idea, but I don't know how well the US would serve your needs. it's short decay doesn't really fit with a lot of the genres you listed...most of which have feedbacky long lasting notes/chords. I, personally, would hold out for the new Torn's Peaker and also get a Soda Meiser. that way you can have the Shoegazer combo but be able to use the SM separately.

Yea i'd skip the gettin an epiphone... but purely cause of how much I hate the necks on them...
What kind of Pog you getting? Full, Micro, II ?
Don't bother with an Earnie Ball volume pedal, volume pedals are just a few passive components, that's just an expensive waste of money, you may aswell just get a plastic one.
The Line6 DL4... although alot of options, not that great a circuit in there, very digital and I have heard and fairly unreliable, Have you checked out the Digitech Hardwire delay? True Bypass delay/looper, built like a tank and half the cost http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSBmy9mGeb0
An Vintage Germanium Fuzz clone is usually tasty, but you have to find someone to make you one that isn't boutique costs.

Alright, thanks for the advice, I'll try that.
^ Already Have Epiphone.
Full.
I'll have to keep that in mind.
What's your idea of a boutique cost? It costs $150, and I personally don't think that's necessarily bad. However, I'd love to hear any suggestions you have for a cheaper one.
For single coils, I have a Kramer FR-424CM and a Crescent Strat Knock-Off. Not great, but will do until I decide to get another guitar (which will either be a single-coil guitar or an Edwards LP).

If you don't get a Shoegazer, definitely go for the Cherry Pop - I'm like broken record hyping this pedal, but that's only because it's so good. It's a Soda Meiser circuit with an amazingly wide tone control, which is perrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect for doom and stoner rock. If you want, you can get lows that would piss off your bass player. Conversely, you can suck all the lows out for full on scrambled trebly leads. The Cherry Pop is the unsung hero of the DE lineup, if'n you ask me (which nobody does, cuz they already know I'll say it).
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

For all the kinds of music he likes, I thought he might need both. It's like having a phillips-head and a flat-head screwdriver.

I'd say you want an analog delay - depending on how much you want to spend, a Malekko or an MXR.
ILF pedals: DE Eye of God, Mellowtone Wolf Computer, Mellowtone Singing Tree LE, Fuzzhugger Arc Flash Oscillator, DSc Miniberator, Mysterious J boost/cut/tremolo pedal
