for $200 Canadian. Super excited to try it out tomorrow with my les paul, marshall 4x12B and a couple of different Rats.
Any suggestions on how to dial them in for the heavyz?

Re: Just picked up a Sunn Beta Bass Head
I have a Beta Lead and I think that the frequencies on the EQ are in weird spots and the db boost on each knobs are fairly extreme so I'd keep the EQ settings fairly mellow. On a Marshall the EQ just cuts frequencies so the best place to start is EQ knobs on 10 and then dial in presence to taste. The Beta EQ cuts and boosts so the best place to start is to pick a single channel since they both sound the same and put all EQ knobs on 5 and then add a bit of something if you need to.

I hear that! Its easy to dial in a heavy sound with these things, but a clear lead tone takes work. An eq pedal in the loop helped me a lot in that area.fallen wrote:frequencies on the EQ are in weird spots
