Bionic Commando Synthy Sound For Guitar!

I just finally beat Bionic Commando Rearmed on Hard Mode and that shit was TOUGH.

But yeah if you haven't played this remake of everyone's favorite NES game from 1988 you should have a look.

The soundtrack is PARTICULARLY sweet. Anyone know of a pedal (for guitar) that might do the shit that the synth is doing in the intro and at :36?

I know I could do it with a synth but I'd like a sorta fuzzy pedal that could do it for guitar. It's like glitching in and out of octaves and warbling and stuff.

The Pigtronix Mothership or a Tim Escobedo Uglyface + Whammy combo may work. There are a number of oscillating fuzzes that may be in the same ballpark as well. I can dial in varying degrees of 8-bit glitchiness with my cheapo Chinese Fuzz Factory clone.

I get pretty close with a Fuzz Factory into a Bit Commander. Get it oscillating, drop in some subs and +1 octave.

Cool! I watched some vids for those pedals and they all get close! I've tried a few Pigtronix pedals and they're all over my head. I also forgot that I have a M5 that could probably do some of that stuff with the Synth-O-Matic.
