i really want to thank you all for putting up with me these past two days, during the VEX drama.

special thanks go out to Devi and Ryan and Tom, and really everyone here.

it has been a learning experience, being a moderator. and some of the people at HCFX are correct -- maybe i DO post there too much, and should moderate at a bit more of a distance.

there's a lot of cool people already here that i consider to be good friends, and i am very grateful that you have made me feel welcome.

and i think i will be posting here more, and hopefully be a contributing MEMBER of the COMMUNITY.

i DO love fuzz. a LOT.

i also love chorus......and in honor of this crazy week, and my time here at ILF, and thru the good graces of Ryan......

i liked this finish, because it reminds me of the inclusiveness of ILF, and it's a beautiful finish, and just like how looking at Tommy's amazing "buddha" ab-synth he made me, the "Rainbow Chorus" will remind me that we are all together, all different colors, and all on the same path. yes, i tend to get sentimentally attached to certain pedals. and it makes me KEEP them instead of flipping them, which is good.

so, this will be my present to myself for enduring this crazy week of being attacked by Zackman.....or was it Zachman? or are they the same person?

yes, they are. and they are the same person as me. and i am them. and we are all together....

i feel the love tonite.

but i'm still gonna blow up a zvex pedal, if for nothing more than to bring a smile to Devi's face

Hello! That is one killer pedal, if only I liked chorus......... but alas my favorite chorus is really a phase.

I'm probably one of the only ones that hasn't followed what ever happened on HC as I don't go to HC very much, if you want to find me other then here it will be TB. And after the tidbits I picked up around here and the one thread devi linked to I'm glad I didn't see what all that was, forum wars/bs depress me and usually make me abandon a forum, atleast for a while.

I love chorus too! My board is 7/10 fuzz 2/10 chorus 1/10 others, more or less.

morningstaru -- we are NOT gonna punk vex in any way. as pissed off as that whole episode made me, i DO want to take the higher road. we are not gonna do anything to vex at all. i honestly hope he doesn't come to NAMM, but i need to check the show map and see if he has a booth, so i can AVOID that entire aisle.

newark and i were talking a few weeks back, and we were mentioning how we both thought that we should REACH OUT to Vex, and see if he's OK.....i half expect to see a report on the forums one day that he's killed himself.....to have that much angst and general nastiness must not be a pleasant way to live.

i really wish he would go on a spiritual vacation. maybe go to nepal and spend time on a monastery, or go climb a mountain, or go live with a native tribe in the amazon for a few months, have some sort of vision quest, and come back to his SENSES.

when you come right down to it.......at heart he's just a geeky little kid on the inside like the rest of us. why would he be SO MEAN to the people who helped him to become what he is today?

i still think it will be hilarious video to EXPLODE one of his pedals, and i am GONNA do that. but the pedal is a symbol, not a person. i wish nothing but the best for Vex. i hope he gets "better".

and i have learned some important lessons about hcfx and moderation and people in general from this episode. people i thought were my friends and supporters who outed themselves in those threads.....very interesting.

Oh I figured as much Bobby, I'm just playing . Honestly it must take a lot of self control for him not to constantly lash out.
HCFX has managed to make catalinbread and paul c look bad, so it's not suprising that someone with a more explosive personality reacted the way they did.
