For those interested; after a few months, I think i finally found the right connection for this bend/ mod. First I had R15 and R25 connected, but every time I engaged the pedal, it had this "startup" noise like a motor that's really low in rpm and then speeds up.. Which resulted in me absolutely NOT using the pedal.

So, this morning I became so irritated by the sound I took it apart, ditched the old bend and started searching again. After about half an hour, I connected the right pin of R15 to the south pin of R27 (see attachment). Lo and behold; a FX25B which became usable again! Haven't had time to make a proper video of it, but I'll try to get one up here by somewhere around Friday.

What's the matter? Are you scared of a little circuitry?

I think it's good Gerb got his mod sorted out. :)*

Oscillating filters are one of the primary ways of attaining a kick drum sound, so I wouldn't be surprised if connecting the right two points will either map the follower envelope to the filter's resonance, or just cause enough feedback to put it into oscillation.

With some study of the schematic, I bet you could find the perfect places to connect to shape and control this effect.
