Re: whammy xp100 question
Switches can be finicky on those, but there is also a button on the back I have accidentally pressed that seemed to mess something up, try pressing that. If not, switches are cheap on eBay.
Plenty of noise, little discernible skill or talent

Re: whammy xp100 question
That's very weird. Mine never did that. Probably a dodgy switch.

I always did that anyways because I didn't trust the switch.hbombgraphics wrote:yeah I figured, since the switch will put it into tuner mode if you hold it not sure who or how to fix.

Re: whammy xp100 question
As a precaution, I would recommend a factory reset.
Factory Reset/Pedal Calibrate - To reset the User programs to their factory settings and calibrate the
expression pedal, press and hold the <BYPASS/(Hold)TUNER> foot switch and apply power to the unit.
Wait until the letters rS appear in the display and release the foot switch. The display will now show: Pd
and CA , indicating that you are in pedal calibrate mode Once Pb appears, rock the pedal back and
press the <BYPASS> foot switch. When PF appears, rock the pedal forward and press the <BYPASS> foot
switch. SA will next appear in the display to confirm the pedal is now calibrated.
If the switch is indeed flaking out, you can get a complete rebuild kit here;
