While this is pretty tempting I've got to say that having just listened to a record proclaimed as "new" by a "new" band that shamelessly ripped off both the Jesus Lizard and Big Black, the third wave of noise rock is as dead as ska.daseb wrote:will undercut D.O.S. I just heard the final mixes of my band's 7". It's dope AF, and I guess if you squinted you could call it 'noise rock' and that shit's so hot right now. 1 million cold. USD only. Features 1 x ex member of the minus tide.
dude $1 mil AUD split three ways probably wouldn't even cover my mortgage.Iommic Pope wrote:That was a sensible move, asking for US currency.
Business acumen level: advanced.

Have fun with your cultural equivalent of a No Doubt cover band, though.![]()

This is basically all I'm looking for in a band, sign me up for a copy. I can pay you in pinecones or any other tree-based currency.daseb wrote: 'we're into frodus/shotmaker/unwound'

But australia is two years behind so we should be right for a while. We're already working the long game though by pushing the 'we're into frodus/shotmaker/unwound' thing so we can retain cred when some band full of pop punk dudes starts ripping off TJL, then maintain branding opportunities once the bubble bursts.
(gotta mix the other song, then master, finish the art, then get the thing pressed, but rest assured I'll be spamming the shit out of it when it's done!)
