Semi-hollow 339 vs AM93

Post by Andrew21502 »

Ive been wanting to get a semi hollow guitar for the last year and I've been debating between getting an Epiphone Es-339 or an Ibanez AM93. Does anyone have any input about which one is better or just have some insight about them? All help would be greatly appreciated!

Not much help as my 339 is a Gibson, but I really like the body size/shape that would be the same on the Epi.

Depending on market I'd assume the Epi would be an easier resale if you're unhappy some point in the future - the Ibanez may be cheapier by a bit if you find a used one though.

I've never played the 339 but I've played an AM73 a bunch and it's an excellent guitar. I remember being very surprised they were only $300.

Yep. I've played other Ibanez semis and they're decent.

The killer on anything Ibanez has always been resale.
