Does anyone know if the Hold on the DD-3 is different from the DD-2? The 2 has a cool feature where you can a kind of replace-overdub of sorts where any incoming/added audio will replace the prior part and you get this kind of cool glitchy sound. Is this the same on the DD-3?
I'm thinking of getting a Behringer DD400 - which is supposed to be a DD-3 clone, but I'm trying to figure out whether the Hold mode does the same thing as the DD-2.

Can't speak for the Behringer, but DD-2 and DD-3 are functionally identical (in fact, early DD-3s were completely identical to DD-2s--something to do with chip prices dropping and Boss' product naming strangeitude).

Pretty sure the glitch hold thing you're talking about is at the end of this video.
