I'm watching BBC news. They're reporting that TMZ breaking this news.

It's past 11pm over here, Luckily I don't have work tomorrow, I have to stay up to follow this, in a weird, morbid compulsion. This is beyond fucked-up.

I don't know how old you guys/girls are, but when I was growing up in the 80's, Michael Jackson was God. Everything he did was amazing, the world worshiped him, everything changed in music because of him. He went nuts, but what do you expect from someone pushed so hard from such a young age to be perfect. I'm seriously bummed.

MJ was a huge influence on me growing up...for about the first 10 years of my life it was just about the only thing I listened to.

One of my earliest memories was chilling out on my teenage mutant ninja turtle foam chair while playing super mario bros on NES with my Thriller tape on in the background.

Hope he is in a better place if there is such a place and I feel for his fans.

On the other hand, his activity or non-activity in scandalous matters aside and his fondness of chimps, I never liked his music, any of it.

I never worshipped him and I'm 29. He was a filthy frikkin kiddie fiddler that got away with so much shit and I'm glad we're rid of him. Hate me for saying it.. I don't care.

I hated his music in the '70s. I hated his music in the '80s. I hated his music in the '90s.

I feel bad for his kids.
