Monarch less gain

Post by eqd4ever »

Hi guys

Recently acquired a Monarch and I noticed that my pedal has less distortion on higher settings compared to the video demo from EQD. Anybody experienced the same? Mine says Rev. 2 etched in the circuit board.

thanks

Are you running it at 9v or 18v?

Mine dirts up early at 9v -- if someone from EQD doesn't pop in with an answer by the weekend you can always contact them via their website. Replies are quick and their turnaround on repairs (if it comes to that) are reeeaaallly fast.

also, what guitar and pickups. Monarch is super responsive so your whole chain is going to effect how much gain it provides.
