I didn't want to zombie a old ass thread so I'm making a new one..

Anyway I built the ghetto ass looper from the above thread, and I while it was cool, I realized I want a pedal that will freak out with no input signal.
Any simple designs that will achieve this?
I was thinking I could put a contact mic or piezo in the ghetto looper and have it touching the grounds or something, and it will generate noise but, I wanted something more elegant. Thoughts?

Parametric EQ or just an EQ with a feedback loop and positive gain. A old cheap one like a behringer (or anything) or something would be easier.
A simple osc fuzz with an LDR to control the osc. Or an NAND synth or something. Artari punk console with a feedback loop right after it?

I put an eq pedal in the loop and cranked that fucker. Still , when I cut the input it won't feedback on its own.

It's worked for me. I've pluged one output from a digitech ex-7 into it's input and made it work. Seen it down with a RV-5 and stuff. That is the basic concept of zero/no input mixing (youtube wont load right now).
But yea, done it with a stereo pedal quite a bit. Did it the other day with a Deluxe Electric mistress and a mind warp (for the boost).
You could just build a simple 555 oscillator to run as the input signal.

Keep adding gain, it'll oscillate on its own eventually.

I just realized that I didn't understand what you meant at first, goddamn gin and tonics. I'll take a crack at it in the AM.
