anyone know how to light a match under the DBA folk?
I've had a fuzzgun in for repair there for a while now, and I can't get a response from them. Anyone have luck talking with them or have a secret special channel or handshake for communicating with them that I've yet to discover?

That might work, but it'd have to be online...e-stink, if you will.
btw...Sherman, is that really your name or is that a reference to what I think it is?

how to light a match under them? tell them how awesome their band is. or something. good luck
Just tell them they're stupid fucking hipsters (and to stop ripping people off since they aren't broke, what with their trust fund checks and all), haha!

Gross.

It is funny but all I ever read about DBA anymore is that they don't return their e-mails. I guess you can't expect everyone to be nice and helpful and cool like devi and other builders that actually respond. My opinion is as many the price [and in my case even used] didn't match up with what I got interms of the sound, but I think it is that way with some things you either LOVE what it does or you feel a little

I'd wanted to try a fuzzgun, so I hit a cheap buy it now. I would've just sent it back for a refund, but it was such a good deal that I decided to send it in, given the warranty of forever they come with. I didn't realize they would keep it forever.

I sent a SFG in a while back and it did take a lot longer than Matt said it would.. he'd say check back next week, I would and he'd say I promise next week. That went on for a month and then I didn't hear anything for another month.. then he finally got to it and it shipped within a day. It seems to me like they have a qc problem and maybe a bit disorganized because all I hear about is broken pedals and long waits.. it's too bad because I've love the stuff of theirs I've had

The guy sounds like a major douchebag
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, God said, "Let there be Lips!" And there were, and they were good, and the lips said...

Someone should just get the rights to their pedal and make them at more reasonable prices. And output quality builds. I really am interested in their stuff. Don't know if it's just the hype or what... Soundwave Breakdown seems like the tits.

I'm not sure if it is hype either. I tried a fuzz factory and a fuzz god, but I thought both were a bit thin. I liked the wolf computer, but I still had an inclination to try the fuzz gun. I'm still waiting to try the fuzz gun. I'm not so anxious to get it back since I've got plenty of other pedals to keep me occupied, rather it is the nervousness of them not responding and fear of being out the money and having it tied up when other things are appealling.

The DBA pedals I've tried have been hit or miss - ring mod I had was meh, as was the Interstellar OD. The IO Supreme was pure fucking win - better then the stock one and I've never heard anything like the envlope controlled trem on that thing
wish I still had it
I GAS'd hard for an Octave Clang for a long time. Finally got a deal on one and really liked it, until I opened it up one day and realized it was pretty much just a $300 Jawari clone.

NewarkWilder wrote:while there are some DBA pedals I still wanna try (Soundwave Breakdown at the top of the list) I dunno if I've ever been as disappointed with a pedal as the Interstellar Overdriver. It was just so flat and lifeless. I had to compress the ever loving hell out of it to get any kind of pleasing harmonics. yet people still swear by 'em, i dunno
They swear by them because The Edge has every DBA pedal, so they think they are good because of that.
