had the reverb on both up to like 5. it was like this shoulder deep whirlpool of warm water. it was mesmerizing. and then when i hit my overdrive its like i had the entire spectrum of sound coming from the amps. it was a religious experience.
i may have been aroused, i blacked out for a sec.
gotta convince the bandmates that i need two amps at gigs now.
i have garageband on my iPhone, but ive never done any recording with it. i will try to get something good. we will see.
i always have my old boss digital recorder that uses SMARTMEMORY media. 512mb. why did they even make this thing? no easy way to get audio out. but whatever. ill try.
Gonna be hard to really capture the swirlliness without good stereo recording setup and panning. Not gonna happen on the phone. Stereo setups rule though. Ping pong delays and shit, dual reverbs, seperate dirt chains (my very favorite), lots of cool options. I got pretty into having a sort of wet/dry setup with seperate dirt chains. You can really crank the verb and delay on the wet amp a lot more than you normally would but still retain a lot of clarity with the dry amp. Great for higher gain kind of stuff. Seems like the swirl is probably more up your alley. Great sounds either way. Once you go dual amp, it's hard to go back.
