Ok, so here I am, sleeping my dumbass off, and same thing you have, metal jizz all over the place. So I go out, fire my shotgun in the air a couple times, the fuckers come out to investigate (because a gunshot is louder than metal) and when they come out, I scream at them random curses then fire a shot really high over them (because I was literally RIGHT next to them) and go inside and it rains buckshot on them. They stopped. Which is good, because at that time I had a pipe bomb ready to go. I would NOT liek to have had to use it.
Then I moved anyway and now I'm surrounded by old people who mow their lawn obsessively, and then call the town on me when I mow grass into the road and don't blow it away. FUCKERS. So I go over to their yard, at 3 in the morning with a bottle of GrassKiller and kill a big ol' SAD FACE (this guy minus the eyebrows ) in his yard.
You can come to Rochacha, but maybe right not next to me...but I won't scare you...I promise.

Money that they CAUSED to be taken from me, ultimately. So I told em I was gonna drive to their home office with a rusty butter knife and a roll of duct tape (branch manager said she'd ride shotgun). I cussed out the old lady working for the bank who didn't quite understand what I was going through and behaved as though I was overreacting. Her big emerald cut diamond ring smugly gleaming in my face.
It got me higher ups, It got me to the people who would actually do something about my situation. I'm not one to just roll over and take it when I'm wronged. Two wrongs don't make a right, but in this case, it allowed me to survive without any severe long term damage. I'm normally very cordial, and pleasant in public, but these assholes drove me to act like one of the pissed off Sicilians who raised me. I'd exhausted every civil mean short of paying for an attorney.
Don't get me started on THOSE bloodsuckers.
And thank you, Wizard.

Well HC is full of completely out of place gun posts with people ready to jump on you with OH YOU WANTTO TAKE AWAY OUR GUNS SOCIALIST if you complain about it. That's pretty crazy. WaveForm's post was funny though, most of the HC Gun Lobby have no sense of humour.
The gun thing is interesting. I have guns, several actually and I love them. There was a meathead outside a club I played at this weekend that wanted to kick my ass. I avoided confrontation like the plague (the first rule of gun fighting or ANY fighting for that matter), but I was armed and though it didn't make me feel GOOD about life, I would have been able to defend myself against Mr. Caveman and his toadie cohort.
Guns a great, banks suck and sometimes you gotta act like a damn lunatic to motivate otherwise stagnant individuals.
All you have to do is look at the post your pedalboard thread to see we're a bunch of loonies. And to think people act surprised when I show up with 8 pedals, and they get even more dumbfounded when all 8 of them are fuzz/dirt.

It's about standing up for yourself, Rose. You of all people should know what that's about.
The difference here is that some people will stand up for themselves face to face in real life matters, not just on the internet. We're not out to hurt anyone, and will do so as a very last resort. At the end of the day, we're no longer a nation of stiff bastards. We're a FRACTION as strong as our great grandfathers were; more likely to stand gawking on the sidewalk in our tight designer jeans and makeup, smoking a cig than take action when people are in trouble. I saw it with my own two eyes Friday night.
We can all be pacifists when evil people are eliminated. Until then, I'm carrying and not threatening. You never know when you'll need me.

I'm not getting into a pro gun/anti gun fight. But regardless, from the perception of other cultures, american gun culture is full of loonies and their reasoning is broken. That's something you have to put up with, and you can't force acceptence of your culture onto people with emotional goads like "You never know when you'll need me." I'm a lot less reactionary than what I come off on these forums.
I don't know, I don't want to get into another crazy argument and this is already bringing back unpleasant memories of HC, but I get the feeling it's unavoidable.
