Broken mode knob on BOSS octaver?

I got a boss super octave at a garage sale
it works but the mode knob is lopped off right at the surface
is this something that I can get fixed or is it fubar'd because of this? It seems like a basically cosmetic injury although im not sure how to go about fixing it myself... <_<

it can be fixed.
You'll have to take it apart and replace the pc mounted control pot.

Not too difficult if you have a little experience.
A learning adventure if you don't.
