I am definitely scared, but I quite enjoyed the two tracks that are out so far, so not too worried
Making a follow up to Fantastic Planet is a tough job. I do not expect them to surpass it and make yet another legendary record, but I expect them to make a good record

I was excited to buy Fantastic Planet on wax, but still unclear on if this is new old stock or a repress. I'll have to listen to the new songs again.

All their stuff is good. Magnified is also really good and has some amazing songs on there.
Comfort and the Golden CD is good too.
I saw them awhile back in SF and it was a good show. Good tones. They're back to a 3 piece - Troy Van Lewen played with them on the Fantastic Planet tour. It would have been cool to have him playing with them again, but their show as a 3 piece in no way lacked.

fantastic planet didn't come out on vinyl with its original release, only the recent pressing.

magnified is awesome, especially since they created it just greg and ken before kelli joined. bernie... god one of my favorite songs. small crimes, oof. killer.
i drove from cbus to detroit to see them on their reunion tour. was so happy with their bringing it all back to life. fucking cheesy, but at moments it seriously made me tear up in happiness.

it would've been cool to have troy in on it too, but they pulled it off so well with the gear they have now, mean him zero offense but it wasn't as necessary to have a second guitarist as it was back then.

Yeah, Small Crimes is amazing in terms of composition and sound. They really had something going.
Wonderful Life and Undone are probably my other favorite tracks off that. Wet Gravity.

Sure, I just meant that I didn't understand if what they're selling was from that pressing, or a new one.

Be happy it's coming back out.
I sold our last copy of the 2008 (?) pressing last year for almost $400...
