Custom Cabs...

Post by WORMDIRT »

I'm waiting for my motorcycle to sell so I can actually pull the trigger on something, but in the meantime I'm shopping around for a custom 6x12.
Any reccomendations for builders?
I'm hoping to do $800ish unloaded... but this might be a pipe dream.

I know Atlas, Mauler, Janus, and Omega...
So, whats good guys?

I so badly want an Atlas 6x12. I think that's where I'm headed when I can afford it. In the far off future.

There's a guy on here who makes cabs, it's called Dominion cabs. I have no personal experience, but his product seems pretty cool.

Old Soul Cabs is another one to consider: https://m.facebook.com/OldSoulCabinets

He's actually building a 6x12 for someone as we speak! (Full disclosure: he's a friend, but I don't recommend anything I wouldn't play myself, and his stuff is well made.)
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

SLK's Mauler cabs are "in the family". And, he may have a special penchance for 6X12's.

I just hit Petras up for a quote, its looking like $585 before shipping. Heavily considering it.

Blackmarket has a line of more budget friendly cabs I think and a 6x12 is one of them.

Those Dominion cabs look great and are priced very well. Atlas stuff looks nice, too. It should, though, as that guy interned for Emperor and lifted their design.

The Emperor offshoot, Dictator Cabs, also look sweet but goddamn they're expensive!

I actually just messaged Trace on here about a custom 4x12 quote and he got right back to me with a super reasonable price. The thought of having sweet cabs made in VA gets me pretty stoked, and also-

My oversized atlas 4x12 cabinet is amazing. Petras customer service is beyond top notch and his cabinets are as well. The thing sounds amazing and is built like a tank. i remember reading somewhere that he interned at Emperor cabinets years ago (idk if that's true or not) but regardless his cabinets are beyond amazing and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend everyone i know looking at a custom cabinet to him!

If you can't tell i'm in love with mine hahaha
