Hey
so does anyone know anyone/companies that convert/mod the DL4 power supply over to Boss standard 9v? I know there's companies that do this.
are there online resources so I can do this myself? Is this a difficult 'mod'? anyone have info on this?

Re: Converting over DL4 power supply??
You want the power supply itself to be modded or you want the DL-4 modded to be able to be powered by a regular 9v adapter?
The latter is easily to do. The former; I don't understand why you would want that.
You can drill out the existing slot for the adapter plug on the Dl-4 enclosure - you of course have to remove the PCB first and desolder the stock adapter jack.
You drill out the slot to make it a hole for a regular 2.1 barrel plug. Then just wire the pads to the will work with a standard negative tip power supply - you'll need the right amount of MA though - PP2+, One Spot, etc.
So the positive pad on the PCB goes to the negative lug on the 2.1 barrel plug, and PCB negative to plug positive.
