Blunderbuss problem?

Post by jeffinaustin »

I recently picked up a SST with the bbuss side and I'm wondering if it functioning properly. The decay of the notes is sputtery, almost like its gating. If I roll the focus knob fully clockwise it gets worse. Is that normal?

Been emailing Blackout for a week but they aren't getting back to me. Figured I'd check here.

'Buss will definitely get a bit gated at some settings, even on it's own--they are high enough gain that I find it tough to imagine boosting it much without sending it into spasm mode.

If you want I can pull mine out when I have a few minutes to get loud and see what more I can offer :thumb:
Special low-frequency version.
