I missed having an offset and had been fooling around with the idea of putting together another Jazzmaster since I hadn't had one for about a year, I missed the trem and behind the bridge action.
Fast forward to last weekend, I sold my Blacktop Jaguar to Fever606 and tell him I was thinking about starting up a Jazzmaster project. Lightbulbs go off in both of our heads, and he ends up selling me this Jazzmaster body with torte guard.
Going to poly seal the body after a super light sanding just to get it to be smooth, but I'm not trying to make it look perfect by any means.
Specs:
Not sure where the body came from, but it's heavy and solid
Torte pickguard
Black pickup covers
CIJ pickups (until I can get some Mascis pickups to swap in)
Fender Blacktop trem
no-name Jaguar bridge to hold me over until a Mastery
no rhythm circuit
Switchcraft pickup selector switch
Switchcraft jack
no-name neck plate and screws
Fender MIM Maple Strat neck (I've found them to be my favorite necks)
Knobs recycled by a friend of mine who sends me parts all the time
Anyways, trying to really keep it on a budget since I shouldn't be building it in the first place.
