hey guys. here's my new music blog!

the main aim is to post music, comment on it with mini-reviews and food for thought rants and just generally spread awesome music i enjoy. I plan to post daily, if not more often.

launched yesterday, so far i'm sporting the new tracks from Torche and ASIWYFA, soon i'm planning to do a (mini)review of the new SUMAC record (exclusively streamed on Metalsucks right now) and then... sky is the limit, lol

added another cool video, recently released music video by The Twilight Sad. Check that band out, seriously, or at least check the song out for cool post punk bass tone

i'm a bit worried about the daily posting, truth to be told. However, there are features on tumblr, like queues for automatic posts on days I might not be able to post. so if i prepare them beforehand, all should be good

honestly, I've been feeling a bit tied by my "real" writing affiliations at times and just want something that's mine and doesn't have to follow quotas and genre borders and stuff like that. I also miss writing seriously in English. AND I would like to start working towards writing for different sites and would like to prove myself worthy for future reference as well

Don't stress on daily posting, man. A coworker of mine who focused on social media hipped me to the rule of threes: try to post about three times a week, with 1/3 of your content in-depth, 1/3 of it linking to related content (videos, news, etc), and 1/3 little quick snippets. Not all at the same time, mix and matched all about. You don't want to exhaust yourself, you don't want to exhaust your readers, you just want to establish a pace you can maintain.

I'll see how it goes. i mean... i'm online every day anyway and this will at least make it more worth the time

plus it'll make me more involved with music on more regular basis. I've been slacking lately and I kind of miss listening to music as much as i used to

lol so i've already not manage to post yesterday, because i've had first day of my new semester and came home pretty late thinking about academic stuffz

but so far i've been progressing pretty well... one follower for each post i'm starting to think that people might not be too interested in music while on tumblr, though...

thanks to everyone here following me it's been fun so far and I'm getting used to it
