Lo-Fi Delay Project
I have found that the only thing I really want from a delay pedal is a bit of slapback. I was wondering if anyone knew of a kit/PCB/tagboard layout for a lofi delay. Digital is preferred. I just need it to sound kind of shitty and noisy. I want it to be a bit glitchy and whiny. In other words, what is the worst simple delay circuit that I can build?

Voila, the Crap-Fi delay: http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/201 ... -this.html
Poke around the delay projects there beyond this one--only a couple are loads more complex. Also, there's a tap-tempo add-on project, if that's important to you.

Re: Lo-Fi Delay Project
You should figure out how to stick the Mascis on the repeats of your delay...

Crap-Fi will be perfect until I get dangerous.
(I'm contemplating a delay with a Great Destroyer on the repeats only...)

The most worthless setting on my Delaylab distorts the repeats only. I would lay the circuits out on separate board in case you feel the same. Or just do an effects loop for the delay path.
