One Last Dirge?

Post by oldangelmidnight »

We started talking about this over the summer and it was last on his list before babytime. It's a Rat with a baxandall tone stack rather than the standard one knob. It's got a clipping diode selector and the other common boutiquey Rat upgrades. I also asked him to add an expression jack to control gain.

It sounds fantastic and the bass is intense. And, of course, it's beautiful.

I wish him well in his new life and I hope he can find a way to get back to building because the world is better with his pedals in it.

God, that's beautiful! Looks like a tattoo I have. I've got a thing for trees. Blake's Tree...
While leaves shall fall, do branches intertwine, that we remain bound.

That looks great! Congrats, oldangel, and great work Skully!

Really just have to point out how much I dig the white DIRGE lettering over the black logo on the front of the pedal. Just gorgeous!

It's actually the next to last for a long while. I've still got monkeydancers that I've been trying to finish up for ages. I need another good day to just sit like I did with oldangels and spend 6 hours straight on it

I found out last week that we aren't moving until February instead of this weekend, so I can keep my bench operational for a bit

We will be with my in laws for about a year and a half tops. My father in law would totally let me set up shop down in his basement. It's really the new job more than anything now that has got me not having as much time as I once did, I used to have Friday's off which helped things out.
