Saw Johnny Fuckin' Marr live last night

Saw johnny marr last night, mind blowing. Lead guitarist had a les paul standard with piezo, running to a panel fron marshall and controlling the synth. Johnny had his signature jags running to a DRRI amps SRRI, both inputs on the trem side of the DRRI, and the second input of the SRRI. Both were running bos gt100's johnny had a diamond compressor. The new songs were great, the smiths stuff was really great, the depeche mode cover was amazing. crap quality iphone Pics...

Got to see him in Chicago last year, missed him by 2 days with my visit this year. Have you listened to Playland yet? I heard the singles and it sounded a little less inspired than The Messenger.

He was one of the most pleasant musicians to talk to after the show too. My Marr Jag wasn't early enough to come with a signed booklet, so I asked him to sign mine. It was really cool to see how his eye lit up when he realized I had one. Went on to talk about Compressors and Flatwounds.
