Antigua is never the best.
I can look at antigua and almost smell a full ashtray.

I think it would look a lot better with a solid-colored pickguard, rather than having a burst within a burst. Also, that switch placement gives me the heebie-jeebies (I know I'd knock it out of position alllllllllllllllll the time). Those two nitpicks aside, it could be cool!

i absolutely love antigua but it'd look better with a black guard…and that switch is an easy move.

I love this thing. Price point appears to be $350. I think I'd look into tuning E to E for Bass VI action. Drop in a black guard and it'll look boss.

Fitting it's antigua on what's basically a 'use up the parts' from the terribly-thought-out Jazzmaster Special run - it's just one of those with antigua and a VI neck.

For $199? Sure, what the hell.

For $350? I'll take another actual VI please.

With a different pickguard I could get behind the antigua. £300 here... That's more than the bass vi :?:

Yeah man.
I wanna rock this with a black guard and get some different pickups in there. Some witch hat knobs. Not sure what I'd do about that switch but... something. :idk:

If you're replacing the guard, can probably do whatever you want.

Hand-cut/rout out what's needed to put it where you want, the new pickguard will hide almost any of it.

Why I would rather convert a Squier Bass VI by routing for JM pickups if I found this overwhelmingly compelling.
