The RM one is way too pricey and has that stupid ufo-box.

You do? http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/201 ... e.html?m=1
I think Culturejam might have done printed circuit boards for this one at some point, too. But I dunno, I've stopped buying fabbed boards of anything I can reasonably vero as a one-off.

I certainly did. I made a few minor changes to simplicity, but it's what a lawyer would call "substantially similar" to the Spitfire. If you want a board, you can get one from GrindCustomsFX. It's called the Pit Fighter:Gone Fission wrote:I think Culturejam might have done printed circuit boards for this one at some point, too. BTW, CJ's boards ar high quality and well designed, very friendly to the DIY-er. He's a big man around the BYOC forums for routinely supplying great project boards, besides just being a good guy. My comment on vero-ing is just that I'm comfortable with doing those on easy projects, and that's as compared to anyone's pcbs, not CJ's in particular. If I were to vero a Spitfire, I would look very seriously at incorporating his mods since he does thoughtful revisions of original circuits.
