My jackson warrior is set up to A standard with a floyd. I set it up myself, it took a bit to do but it can be done. Just be ready to spend some time devoting to getting it right.

What size strings are you using? All of my guitars are in A and I use .014-.068

I just figured you were drunk.

mine go more like 13-72 or 74. It's been awhile since i changed them so I guess I need to get on that.

Do you have an older Floyd or newer? Thought that was a huge no no to run big strings with the older ones. Also I wish I was drunk when I posted that

ehh not sure actually I got the guitar back in early 2000's. So it's probably a newer one. But I have an 80's jackson with thicker strings I have tuned to C and I don't even have the locking nuts on it and it stays in tune perfectly.

I've gotten up to a 100 [Bass E strang :)* ] to work in a floyd [though I had to mod it a bit] on a old Jackson floyd, and I am running a 72 on one right now. The trouble you might run into is the nut, if it is a normal floyd locking nut you might need to get some longer screws for the locking plate thingys, on a kahler you will have to drill out where the string passes through but neither are big deals to do.
