Tips on non-fuzz pedals to fill out my board?

Okay, so after going on a shopping spree I'll have six fuzzes on my board (if you include the built in fuzz in the DBA ED2). The other pedals are: Walrus Deep Six compressor, Red Panda Context, Mission engeneering VM-Pro and SS/BS No Memory (incoming). I've somehow tricked myself into thinking that I don't like modulating effects or filters, when in fact I think that it is something that I'd really like to play around with, and that my negative thoughts about them come from my lack of knowledge about said pedals. I enjoy making strange soundscapes, ambient sounding music and what I'd might call fuzz chaos. For well known band I enjoy the sound of A place to Bury Strangers, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Boris, Skywave, Sigur Ros, Smashing Pumpkins etc.

I've got room for one really big pedal (memory man size), two mediums (Fuck size) or three smalls.

Who's got any pointers or pedal tips for me?

Zoom CDR70 is awesome for lots of shit in a tiny package.

But since you mentioned Boris and APTBS, I would suggest some kind of wah/filter. Wilson Freaker could be magic for you. Wah before and after fuzz can do crazt shit.

Oh yeah! I have one and they are pretty cool
Diddly sometimes but once you set up presets and get used to it it's pretty easy

Also just got a freaker which is rad

For most of my mod and freaky sounds I use an old Korg ax1000g multi fx through a feedback looper. Great sounding effects. quite a lot of them, and its built like a tank. Large footprint though. Paid a lot of money back when they were new, but they are cheap as chips now. Might be a good cheap option to see what you would like and go from there.

It has a great chorus setting and with the magic switch you get some cool feedback/oscillation/swooshes
I saw it as a gimmick at first and sold it twice but now it's one of my favorites.

Yeah, I love the chorusy sound from it and I don't even like chorus.

I can get feedbacky stuff out of it even without the magic switch.

I borrowed jrmy's thinking I wouldn't really be able to use it, but ended up really liking it. Wouldn't've though that unless I tried it.
