Big Box EHX Polychorus LED mod?

i recently scored a big box polychorus from the earlier reissue run of the late 90's with the pointer knobs and wood box that sounds great, but the LED stays on whether the footswitch engages it on or off. from watching youtube demos it seems like the big boxes that were made in the 00's seem to have the LED turn on and off with the footswitch. does anyone know of a mod to make the LED turn on and off with the footswitch on mine? and if so is there someone here that could help me out with the mod?
